Pete grew up in Northern California taking road trips whenever he could. Big Sur, the Sierras, and Northern California coast became his favorite escapes. His family has a long history of artists and have always encouraged him in the creation process. He moved to Santa Cruz after receiving his Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating from UCSB, Pete traveled to Australia, Indonesia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and South Africa. His inspiration comes from his love of surfing and the beauty of nature. He now lives in Santa Cruz, CA. with his wife Jane and dog Blu. His work can be found in numerous galleries throughout the state. When not creating art, Pete runs a graphic/web design business.
